Lots of aphids and exuviae (shed exoskeletons). Try some native ladybugs or if that’s not an option, blast a bunch off with a strong spray of water.
Don’t water every day. Water thoroughly and then allow the soil to dry partially.

Squish and rinse off as much as you can with gloves hands and gentle rose on hose.

Lots of aphids and bad Critters! Don’t water so much give it some insecticidal soap or neem oil and hang a fly strip if you can nearby it will catch all of those white flies that lay the eggs. This year has been really bad.. I feel like I’ve been fighting these bugs daily, but the insecticidal soap and neem oil do you help and they are organic. Believe it or not the fly strips do make a huge difference if you can deal with the Aesthetics of them!

Some (native) ladybugs might make short work of these. Though if it’s aphids that sure is a LOT of em

Aphids. Any spray I used damaged the flowers in the heat. I found that bioadvanced rose and flower care concentrate that you mix and pour into the soil is the only thing that worked for mine.

terrible pestilence. Quarantine those plants immediately and treat all your plants to prevent it spreading

Aphids fucking suck. I’m dealing with the same problem. I’ve been wiping them off with a paper towel sprayed with a homemade cleaning solution I use for my kitchen (water, alcohol, lemon EO, and vinegar). After that I spray it with neem oil. You have to be vigilant and do it every day. Make sure to get the underside of the leaves. I have significantly less but I still see some of those fuckers.

Aphids and maybe even thrips too.
I think this is appropriate
